Here we are presenting “Aflaj- Falaj Management system”. For the last couple of months we have been working on the App platform. It’s for Oman Government’s Falaj digitization project. It’s a multi-vendor system for Owners and Falaj users to keep track of their water supply schedule.
“Falaj” is a traditional irrigation system in Oman and has been used for years but till now that was manually operated also to be noted, UNESCO has been recognized Falaj as a World Heritage sites.

Goal
Streamline the Falaj (Water Irrigation System of Oman) management. So from years its been managed by paperworks and so called written documents but this need huge human resource and not transparent too. Also we solved the problem of renting a Falaj, so now any owner can leave for rent and anyone can take rent for limited time.
Challenge
Our platform faces the challenge of balancing the needs of users with different roles (owners and tenants) within a unified system. However, we have successfully integrated a payment gateway and onboarded over 20+ Falaj owners for rent and sale transactions.
Outcome
Our platform has facilitated **over $1 million** in transactions through renting or selling falaj. Digitization has significantly impacted this achievement. Owners benefit from individual apps showcasing their falaj, while users enjoy a clear view of available and rented falaj through separate lists.
